Privacy in plain words

What this site collects

Only what you type into the order form: what you would like baked, your date, a rough headcount, any details or photo you choose to add, and the name and contact you give so we can reply. There are no accounts and no tracking or advertising scripts on this site.

What it is used for

Answering your inquiry and, if you go ahead, arranging your order. That is all. Your details are not sold, and they are not passed to anyone beyond the services below that are needed to deliver the message.

Who else sees it

The site is hosted on Netlify, and form submissions are delivered through Netlify Forms, so a submission passes through their systems on its way to us. If you contact us by phone or on Instagram or Facebook instead, that conversation lives with your phone provider or that platform under their own terms.

How long it is kept

Inquiries are kept while they are useful — through your order and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. Ask and we will delete yours.

Asking for a copy or a deletion

Call or text (352) 977-5610 and say what you would like, and we will sort it out.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie, and only for the person who runs it: signing in to the treat-cart admin page stores a session cookie so she stays signed in on her phone. Visitors never receive it. The treat-cart page and the little cart on each page remember, for the length of your visit, whether the cart is open, the short note on its speech bubble, whether it has already rolled in, and whether you closed it. That lives in your browser's sessionStorage, is cleared when the tab closes, and is never sent anywhere. There is no analytics. If any of that changes, this page will say so first.
